The 1, 2, and 3 line, otherwise known as the IRT Broadway-Seventh Avenue Line, runs along Broadway. Along Central Park West run the A, B, C, and D trains (IND Eighth Avenue Line). The main corridor for drivers is the six-lane West Side Highway which borders the Hudson River and stretches south from West 72nd street to edge of NYC.

SCHOOLS IN THE UPPER WEST SIDE
